I don't care about the color of a person's skin!! IF I feel he is the best person for the job and is nominated I would vote for him no problem.
The problem is many will and will NOT vote for him based on just that factor! The same with Hillary, many will and will NOT vote for her because she is a woman no matter how qualified she may be!
I look into and research each person before I do anything at the polls! I wish others would do the same!

I'm sure there are some, but why does that matter? Why a person doesn't vote for a candidate is immaterial. Hopefully, this next election will have a black candidate. I hope so, because I expect it'll be Obama, or Hillary. Unless the dems nominate Hillary, this will be the first time I vote Democratic. And for those who call me sexist, it isn't cuz she's a woman, it's cuz she's the woman she is.

Wow. I certainly hope that the color of a person's skin wouldn't influence their opinion of who is the best candidate for the job. I will vote for the man or woman who I think is addressing the issues that affect my belief system and the small part of the world that I live in...taking into consideration that my vote has the potential to not just affect me but also the people I care about and the country I love.

I don't vote based on the appearance of the candidate, I chose based on who has a similar belief as me and if I think they would do the right thing for the country.

Being completely honest, I would vote for a black candidate if he/she fit the bill.

I'm white and I'd vote for a black candidate just because he's black. I'm curious to see what happens. Plus, we won't have to suffer the embarassment of seeing a 70 year old white man dance to Kanye West at the Inagural party.

I wouldn't vote for anyone who did not have the views I share. I would vote for ANYONE who did have the views I share. For example, I would not vote for Barack, but I did vote for Michael Steele for Senator from MD, although he lost :(

I know lots of people of the caucasion flavor that would vote for Condilizza Rice, were she a candidate.

I would vote for Obama, but he lacks experience at this time. He is certainly a qualified candidate.
