Al Gore has proven that he would preserve and protect our National Parks and Resources.
He has in the past, and I am sure that he will in the future.

Ron Paul would transfer our national parks to state governments, who would do a heck of a lot better than the federal government. Remember, the federal government loses nothing by allowing our parks to be logged-- in fact, I bet some of the Democratic candidates would steathily let this happen! But the state government wouldn't want anything to happen to our parks because they depend on the tourism. On this and every other issue, Paul wants to minimize government corruption.

The national park system will be endangered by any republican canidate. They favor "free enterprise" over the protection of our national landscapes. If bush had his way, yellowstone national park would be a logging camp by now.

It's not a presidents job to protect the American National Parks. That's our job to try not to hunt the wild life and to try not to burn leave fires behind. It's already bad enough that we have this GLOBAL WARMING changing the planet.
