As a professor, I've noticed an interesting trend. A significant number of female college students like to display cherries in their cars, either a knickknack hanging from the rearview mirror or as a decal. They also like to wear cherry jewelry, like necklace pendants and earrings.

My mom thinks it means something suspicious, but I think it's innocent and just a fad (maybe only where I live).

Anybody have any thoughts on this? Does it really mean anything or not?

Serious answers only, please!

Thanks & Cheers!! :)

For some chicks it's just a cute thing to wear or have around, but for others it's a sexual symbol, representing virginity.

nope

no secret meanings

the smartest peole look only at the real meanings first, then maybe if its a poem or something, then try to appreciate the subtlety and deeper meanings

otherwise you will be blind to the facts and the true meanings and maybe go crazy even

I haven't seen it in my area. But my guess is that it's definately peeps flaunting their virginity (or wanting others to believe so), or the other way around
