I work at a McDonald's in Indiana. Minimum wage is $5.15 but soon to go up. Most people at my store start out above minimum wage. We get an evaluations every 6 months and are eligible for up to a .10 cent raise. Where you start out at pay wise when hired depends on age, availability, and experience.

Hope this helps.

first of all: the lowest wage possible. you would better be working at stop and shop which pays $7 an hour!

second: why would you want to work at a horrible place like mcdonalds? everytime i walk in the rest stop to go to the bathroom or get a drink, I almost barf at the thought. I see all these fat people walking out of line with this huge order

I take it it's an entry job. Minimum wage. But show up on time, be showered, clean, neat, and do whatever they tell you to with gusto. Be polite. Make sure your shirt and pants aren't dirty or wrinkled when you show up. Listen to what other employees do so you can do them in the future when you get promoted. That way you can tell the manager "I know how to do that!" with confidence.

McD's is bad at first, depends on the manager. I knew a manager who was making $60K+ a year and got promoted to corporate and lived in a nice house and had a brand new car. He started out at about your age.

They pay minimum wage to start out. How much you get every two weeks will depend on how many hours you work. They expect a good employee to show up for work on time with their uniform fresh and clean and they expect you to be courteous to your customers.

Minimum wage--whatever that is in your state. It is $5.50 at the moment nationally, but your state may have a higher minimum wage.

You should only expect whatever the minimum wage is where you live.

It depends on where you are but usually slightly better than minimum wage. If you just show up on time everyday then you are already at the top of the class.

why would they actually care if your clean since the place is just a big dump. i think they could care less about those types of important things for real restaurants. just show up and do your job and i think your fine.
