A G-string and a thong are very similar. They both cover the front and they both go in the buttcrack. The only difference is where they meet at the top of the buttcrack. A thong usually has a triagle that tapers down and thus takes more sewing. A G-string is basically just a string attatched to another string.
Thongs are like a V
G-Strings are like a T

A G-String has a thin line in the back, pretty much the same thing as a thong except a thong has a thicker line. = )

A thong is wider in the back than a g-string. A g-string is just a little string in the back.

a g string is a thong with a string in the back...a regular thong is a thicker about an inch string in the back

I think a G-string is just a string aroung the waist and a thong is thick like underwear just not at the ***.
