I'd rather miss the ending of a movie because most movies are predictable, so you can kind of put two and two together and guess the ending. But if you miss the beginning you're stuck wondering, well how did this happen, how did it come to this, who's who and stuff like that.

beginning, because once you watch it, you can easily pick up the story. But if you miss the end then you don't know what happens to the characters in the movie!
