Did you know that the show BONES is based on her career and she is one of the producers of it?! The girl who's nickname is "Bones" is the one they model after Kathy and the stories come from her real life experiences. I've never read her books but I LOVE THE SHOW!! Even her character on the show writes fiction novels about cases. Try it you'll like it. I think it would be pronounced "rights" with a soft "T"

I have been an avid fan ever since I stumbled upon her books at the library when I was looking for something to read. I have read all her current paper backs. Here is a little trivia for you...the tv show Bones is based on her books. I think her last name is pronounced liked Rikes (rhymes with yikes.)

I have read a couple of her books (can't remember which ones) and they were okay. Definitely readable and they had decent endings, but they did not blow me away.
