The Democrats are not fighting the war in Iraq. They are fighting the war against George Bush.To real Americans Al Qaeda is the enemy to the Democrats George Bush is the enemy. This would make the Democrats Proxy's for Al Qaeda.

Winning means having less than 70,000 troops in Iraq.

Umm. to win the iraq civil war? well first we would have to be on one of the main sides in the conflict, Who do you want us to be Sunni or Shiite? Once we decide that, then we can determine if we are winning. until then we are targets in the middle of their conflict.
Proxy for Al-Qaeda - F-U - You know what, I lost my best friend in 9/11 james Greenleaf jr. he worked for Carr futures in the North Tower. How about we actually go after Al-Qaeda! Al-Qaeda doesn't own a country. They are an ideology. No terrorsit plot has been foiled by us being in Iraq. It has been Police tips and informants. Clinton put together a task force in 1998 whos sole job was to hunt Bin Laden. Bush disbanded that unit and stopped looking for him last year- WTF is wrong with that picture? Iraq was a secular state, in complete ideological opposition to Al-Qaeda. One of Bin Laden's stated goals for Al-Qaeda was not only to remove the US from their holy lands but also topple secular states like Saddam's and unite the region. We also removed Saddam who had kept Iran at bay for the last decade due to their ongoing war. Iran is a much bigger threat and actually did sponsor terrorism and help fund Al-Qaeda-So you tell me who is screwing things up-Bush isn't even going after the enemy! He got us into the middle of a Civil war, and taken resources away from the hunt for AL-Qaeda and even tried selling our port security to the UAE - Where two of the 9/11 hijackers came from and whose banks money flowed through to finance it. So really with Bush and the Repubs in office we wont have a chance to win because they aren't going after our enemy.
“If you know yourself and you know your enemy, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know only yourself but not your enemy, for every victory you will suffer a defeat. If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will succumb in every battle.”
“You should never go to sleep in the evening with more enemies than you had in the morning.”
Sun Tzu, in the “Art of War,”
For far too long, the policy of the United States in the Middle East has been to do just that.

So by the cited evidence you show I can see that you are full of BS. We haven't even defined WIN yet in Iraq so how will we know when it happens? When Bush shays so? Is that going to compensate for all the lives lost for a war we had no business starting in the first place? No I don't think it is going to do much to help the GOP either way.
Don't call Democrats cowards when you know it not to be true. Most of the chickenhawks I have heard of lately have the R beside their names. My father, both my grandfathers were liberals and not cowards. They fought in wars far worse and far bigger than this one.

This is just another dream by a person who at least has a clue and can read the writing on the wall. Unfortunately it is to late.
Also, your are very naive to think we can win a war that these tribes have been waging for the past 1000 years. You are living in a dream world if you think that wimpy, no going to war, hiding behind daddy's pants, campaign worker, AWOL, treasonous bush, can effectively win a campaign let alone a war. Hillary will win and reverse your 1950 dream world and bring us back into the 21st century.

How many thousands of our young men have died. Ask their loved ones if you think we have won. I would like to know what makes you think we have won anything....reports this morning were looking pretty brim. Why is it that Bush would win???? Wouldn't it be the republican and democratic men and women that are over their who are winning. Bush does not seem to know his *** from a whole in the ground. Sorry but this was really a stupid comment on your part and I can see why you are a Bush supporter. Problem is only 26% of the American public believe the way you do.

Does not winning in Iraq mean self-suffience in the process of voting for representative leadership?
If Bush is able to establish a stability so that the voting process continues in Iraq despite violence and without our interference, then the war is over.
However, the question remains: Will the American voters perceive that the war in Iraq is over when the above is secure? I doubt it. Republicans have pursued such a heavily negative campaign in the past that they have worn out the people, even their supporters.
Watch out, Democrats, that you do not do the same!

The FOX News blabber has finally rotted your brain? Iraq will not be 'won' anytime in the next 10 years. Even GWs own hand picked general states this. Bush has failed his party and his supporters. That will cost the Repubs elections for many years to come.

Saying Bush winning Iraq is like saying the sky is falling.... don't hold your breath. And yes, the Dems will win the White house.. if they get their act together over the border problem and someone shuts Kennedy up!

I suppose you can declare victory whenever you wish, as long as you can keep a straight face when you call whatever the situation in Iraq is as victory. I expect our next president will be Democratic. I only fear that it'll be Hillary. Unless the Dems nominate Hillary, this election will be the first time I vote for a Democratic President. And for those who will call me sexist, it isn't that Hillary is a woman, it's that she is the woman she is.

Probably not.
Bush probably won't win the war. He has even said the decision to pull troops from Iraq will likely be made by a future president.
Even so the Dems have a long list of failures to account for.
