Some of you are tripping over yourselves trying to be the bigger bleading heart. The question is valid. I own some convenience stores and was asked this question by an employee. She wanted to know how you tell the difference between retarded and drunk.

I used the word retarded becaused mental retardation is also a valid term. Some of you are so excited to correct what you think is PC that you can not seem to answer the question.

Ah yes, lets base laws upon IQ.

So lets make an IQ of 100 a requirement to buy booze.

Or better yet, lets make it 120 so only smart people can buy booze and get a drivers license.

Or better yet, lets make it 130 so only people who are in the upper 2% of intelligence can buy booze, get a drivers license or vote.

Better yet...lets find the smartest person in the USA and let him run the country and the rest of us can do as we are told.

I don't necessarily believe that retards should be able to purchase alchohol. However, I kind of hate the idea of store clerks be given the power to make this judgement. You never know, they might not sell you alchohol. Just kidding!
