It's through modernism that humanity has come to realize that through technological advancements, humanity has become more destructive...think of World War II. Every technology created within our life time is originally created with a purpose, and most of the time it is to make people happy, or make something easier, but it is people who turn such technology into something that they can use to their advantage against others.

One thing that has been developed that makes people unhappy is the television. For a couple of reasons. It shows lives that are much more glamorous that their own. Show things that they can't afford to buy. Usually the cost of a TV is more than people can afford along with the DVD, cable, etc.

Nope, any and all technology have the potential to do harm as well as good. The fact that every technology has an anti-technology is a sobering thought though.............
