The bars, gauges, and lights are twisted to the right if I turn the front wheel straight.

with my kawasaki klr 650 I grab the front wheel between my legs and twist the bars till they're realigned. Then I tighten the triple clamp to stop any more movement. Should work on just about any bike.

The front fork tubes and steering stem are probably bent.
If that is the case, then no alignment is possible.
Parts have to be changed.
To check for bent front end stuff -
Get weight off the front wheel (side stand down, floor jack under front of motor and jack up bike).
Loosen the pinch bolts on the steering stem and upper triple clamp for one fork tube.
Try to spin it around in the clamp 360 degrees.
If it wont and the front end starts to wiggle, parts need to be changed.
