Why is the woman so stressed out when she tells her daughter not to repeat her "mistake"?

This is in the new cingular wireless commercial and the daughter is in Vegas with a questionable character.

The call is dropped while the mother is trying to explain not to maker her "mistake".

So she looks over her shoulder and gets bent out of shape and tries to explain over the phone but nobody hears her.

What exactly is she talking about when she is referring to the "mistake"?

I just thought that you might like to know that I was wondering the same thing. I didn't catch it the first time I watched it.
When I did catch it I was like...What kind of commercial is this? I have a 13 year old daughter and she said" did she say she married the wrong guy?." I said I think so, and that was that. A while later I listened to it. I laughed and told my little girl...".I sure hope she meant that when her and her husband went to VEGAS for thier HONEYMOON that they lost a LOT of MONEY at the "BLACKJACK" Table. My little girl says " I Don't think so MOMMY!.
