I'm going away to college to NYU, (I live at Long Island) and I'm buying a laptop for college. So which one is perfect for me a 12.1 or a 13.3 inch laptop? I intend on commuting back home at least once a month, so I don't know which one to get. What are the pros and cons of each?

Won't it be, print-size, and how many windows/how much of a window, you can fit on a screen at once? How'bout the size/comfort of the keypad? Are your hands big, and are you a fast typist? Does THAT matter? You may be TRULY HINDERED in your typing speed! Go grope the keyboard! Comfort matters more than you think, technical stuff aside!

Well, there's no real cons. There will be very slightly less battery life going with a bigger screen. The pros is that the screen is bigger. Pretty straight forward. Go to a Best Buy or something and look at the models and see what size works best for you.

it is totally personal preference. if you want to carry it around to class and such you might want a 12.1 ultra portable, however if you want more of a desktop replacement the you aren't planning on carrying around then you should be perfectly fine with a 14 inch screen, however look past the screen size for things like memory, hard drive space, graphics card and other things that make your machine run.

If you're going to lug it around campus you might want the 12", but if you're going to spend a lot of time in front of the computer, the 14"screen might be best. If you're going to do both, you can go for the 13".
