I have the regular dsl, the cheapest one i think. is this speed good ? if not, is there a way to make the internet connection faster?

This is a decent speed. It really depends on what you are doing.

It is decent for normal household use; It is slow if you plan to transfer huge files all day long.

The only way to speed it up is to contact the ISP and see if he offers a faster connection. You will pay more for that. Check and see if cable tv provided internet is available and its cost too.

I think your internet's speed is swift..... Well my net's is only 128kbps... If you wanna still make your net faster the best way is to take the BSNLs Broad Band connection.. We will get a speed of 1-2mbps.....very much swift for domestic use........

this speed is verrrrrrrryyyyyyyy slow!! mine does a download in just 11 or 12 kbps.

Good for most purposes, unless you need to download 100+megabyte files regularly you are well equipped for all general browsing purposes.
