I'm not really a greenie or an activist or anything, but I have been trying to do my part to not be wasteful, etc. Sometimes though, I'll be reading about all the crap you're not supposed to do or buy or wear or eat or WHATEVER. It's too much to handle. And it seems like people aren't happy unless you're doing ALL of these things.

Does anyone else agree?

I agree with you! I recycle and try to conserve water, electricity and gasoline....but like you said - when you really look at all the things some scientists suggest we do, or don't do; wear or don't wear, it's mind-boggling! You would have to be conscious of what you're eating, drinking, and doing 24/7. That's no way to live.
I guess if we all choose one or two things that we can commit to and do our part, the world will be better. We cannot do it all!

Just do what you can....if you buy one thing that helps or you save on electricity or anything it will help. Those who aren't happy unless is it all "green" Have an issue with o.c.d.

obsessive–compulsive disorder:a psychoneurotic disorder in which the patient is beset with obsessions or compulsions or both and suffers extreme anxiety or depression through failure to think the obsessive thoughts or perform the compelling acts —abbreviation OCD; called also obsessive-compulsive neurosis

Don't let their ocd make you feel that you are not trying to be "green" All you have to do it put up the effort....once you've done that...then kudos to you.
