i had to shuffle the deck of cards then draw one card then record the result (black or red card) i had to repeat this 100 times

then i got 67 red cards
and 33 black cards

then i had to do this question and i don't understand it
(((it is to express the result as a fraction ???)))

can u tell me what does that mean and do it so ic an understand???

The fraction is the percent of each suit divided by the total draws. If you had an "honest deck" and kept on doing this, and kept track at 200, 300, etc. draws, the fraction should trend towards 0.5. Likewise, if you did 100 draws and kept record, then 100 more and kept record, and so on, the MEAN of the fractions should be about 0.5.

You could also determine how "unusual" it is to get an answer of 67/100 for red cards when you expect an answer of 50/100, but that is another story.

They want you to tell them what fraction of the cards were red and what fraction were black. Since you pulled 100 cards total, you got 33/100 black and 67/100 red.

you got 67 red cards out of 100 cards drawn.
that would be 67/100 as a fraction

you got 33 black cards out of 100 cards drawn.
that would be 33/100 as a fraction

These are the fractions. Red was 67 out of 100 cards and black was 33 out of 100 cards so:

Red: 67/100

Black: 33/100
