This morning! Same as every morning, I first smell that delightful, slightly fishy breath. Then, some slimy drool as the beautiful face draws near. A suspenseful pause, waiting to see if I will stir on my own. Then the nudge. The cool, damp, 80 grit sand paper nose, preceded by a few wiry whiskers, pushes with intended but not attained gentleness into my eye socket . My eyes open and as my eyelid muscles overpower the remaining strands of dog spit, I greet the day and my beloved son Mica* good morning. Then it's to the kitchen for OJ for me and turkey kibbles for him.

Can't even remember THAT! Hmm. I've been nudged for a cup of coffee sitting next to me on my nightstand......hubby was trying to get me to wake up!
