Both should be held responsible for the birth controll. The female could get on a form of birth controll and the male should always use a condom. the male condom is only 97 percent effective with perfect use. The female forms of birth controll are 99 percent effective...with perfect use. if using both methods there is less of the chance that you or the female in the relationship with get pregnant.

Both partners are responsible for birth control. Until you've been in a monogamous relationship and be tested for sexually transmitted infections TWICE (6 months apart), you absolutely should NOT have intercourse without barriers such as condoms, dental dams, etc.If the woman is comfortable with and able to use hormonal birth control, she should absolutely use it. Men, condoms are pretty much your only choice here -- they ARE still working on 'birth control pills' for men, but the clinical trials aren't even here yet.

Both are responsible, just as both are responsible for a baby. If a man doesn't want to pay child support then he should take an active role in prevention.

Even if a woman says she's on the pill, the man is still responsible if there is a pregnancy. (even if she lied about being on the pill altogether)

Both are responsible for it. If the guy leaves it up to the girl and she gets pregnant then he will still be responsible for the baby. If the girl leaves it up to the guy and she gets pregnant then she will still be facing an unplanned pregnancy. Both are responsible, but in the end if YOU plan to have sex then YOU are responsible for the birth control. You can't just leave it up to someone else and then say it's not your fault.

I think both partners are responsible for their own b/c, unless the couple are married and have an agreement. If someone is single and just "having fun", then they should be thinking of themselves for more than just birth control, but also health concerns.

Both are responsible. If a man doesn't want a kid, wear a condom. If a woman doesn't want a kid use birth control of your choice. Better to double up if you're both serious about not having children yet. Not to mention, protecting from STD's. For years I used B/C pills and made my boyfriend, now my husband, use a condom. Then, we got pregnant when we decided it was the right time.

both should be, as having a child would effect both the male & female. it should be a mutual responsibility, or at least a mutually agreed upon form (the pill, for example, would have to be mostly the woman's responsibility; but my husband would remind me to take it if i had forgot, so he took responsibility as well). the man would have to help support the child as well, so it should be his concern as well as (for obvious reasons) the woman's.

you are both responsible for birth control....
i have to take it out of my parteners hands most of the time to be responible becasue its always 'i have forgotton a condom' 'they are in my other bag'
Pathetic excuses, so women should be responible but its really nice when a man takes that responsibility.
Why men should take responsibilty - shows they care for the woman they could get pregnant.
Why women should take responsibility - becasue men forget.
Be safe man or woman (CARRY A CONDOM)
