wouldn't it be a scream to hear the republicans whine and cry if a democrat wins the Presidency and granted Al Gore III a pardon?

or is getting high a lot more offensive to republicans than

nullifiying our justice system?

Would the Republicans whine and cry about it? A few probably would just like a few did when Clinton pardoned all of his friends and contributors at the end of his presidency. Most would recognize that it is within the rights of the president to pardon or commute anyone they want. Anyone that doesn't like it should change the laws.

What you'd hear is an "I told you so." Republicans expect that sort of behavior from Democrats. Look at the way Hugh Rodham and Roger Clinton were selling pardons out the back door of the White House. I suppose you believe that it was perfectly OK to pardon Marc Rich for a $500,000 bribe because he was only convicted of embezzling $60 million. How about the way the Dems dealt with their own special deal with Gerry Studds, the illustrious congressman from California who was punking a 17 year old Congressional Page. They lowered the age of consent and stood behind (literally) this sodomite, then falsely claimed the high ground because Mark Foley was sending suggestive e-mails. I guess that it would have been Ok if there had been actual intercourse like in Studds' case.

As for getting high, that seems to be a national past time for Dems given Obama's proclivity for shoving "Peruvian Marching Powder" up his nose, Patrick Kennedy's trips to Never-Never land and others. It's all about the high.

Wouldn't it be a whine or cry if we were to whine and cry Don? lol!
I have no beef if a Dem takes the office but right now, I don't see any good ones running for office...sorta like I don't see too much running for the Republicans.....maybe I should've been an Independent?!

you got it right my friend but you speak about the party which won the 2000 elections on a travesty of justice more finting to a "banana repuplic" rather than the most pround Democracy of the Word. So for Bush and Co (or should I say gang?) double stadards is the least of their offences.(of course that doesn't mean that there aren't honest Republicans as well, simply they are silenced by their leadership

He'll get pardoned before the trial even starts. It has nothing to do with the presidency.

Al Gore III violated state and local laws, so your question is clearly nothing more than a pointless and politically motivated rant.

Back to the Libby thing again?

Take a deep breath, just let it go.

BTW, your boy Willie pardoned more in his day than President Bush has.

It is a president's prerogative to grant clemency to whomever he sees fit.

Try and let it go..
