No I don't have to carry one, but I do, I made one up that is in a small tool box, it has everything I could think to put in there, including immodium, bug spray, scissors, needle and thread, lighter, flashlight, and a whole bunch more stuff, but no room for my emergency adult toys.

my old mercedes came with one. But my new honda doesn't so I bought a little travel one I keep in the trunk
