Love and Hate are not opposites as they both cause some kind of passion inside you.
The opposite to love and hate is indifference.
It is easy to love and hate someone at the same time but you can never love/hate someone and be indifferent to them as well.

Well first of all I don't HATE anyone, except one person for a good reason, I just strongly dislike people. Anyways, yes I'm currently in that situation w/ an ex of mine & it's sooo frustrating too!!
