Yes the braves have a very good chance at winning the division. They are only three games back as we speak, and they have a really easy schedule after the allstar break. Their first ten games after the break is against uder five hundred ball clubs. Look for them to ketchup and pass the Mets during those games. Go Braves!

Yes they will by 5 games. They have only lost one NL East in their 11 years of full NL east Competition.

What is the problem with you Mets fans you couldn't win it last year and you are not even going to get a chance to win it this year the braves are only 3 GB after that 17-7 loss that the mets to at the hands of the sad rockies. And one more thing how many division titles do the Mets have in the last 15 season. Thats what I thought.

Yes, they will. The Mets are in a major slump right now. Unfortunately so is Atlanta but I think Bobby Cox will pull them out of their slump faster. We still have a couple of decent starting pitchers, OUR OFFENSE IS FINE AND SO IS ANDRUW, and if Bob Wickman starts to believe in himself he can be a good closer again. I don't think we can get the wild card because that will probably come from the NL West. As for the Phillies, you can forget about them. Young female horses just don't play baseball very well.

It will be a dogfight between them and the Phillies. I think the Braves will come out on top, especially if Jones can heat up during the second half. I cannot see him having a full season slump.
Edit: Excuse my ignorance, I forgot about the Mets. haha The Mets probably have the best odds of taking the East though the Braves stand somewhat of a chance of getting the Wild Card if the East fails them. I can't believe I forgot about the damn Mets.

I think they can. I'm a big Braves fan and I know that every season after they come back from the All Star game that is when they come and play their best! The season still has plenty more games for them to come out on top. They had a great season in the beginning, up until about June. They will come out of this slump they are in! lol GO BRAVES!

The Mets will have to get hit with some serious injuries for that to happen. The Mets are only going to get stronger with some likely moves before the trade deadline and Pedro coming back in August. As long as Reyes, Wright, and the Carloses stay healthy, they will be very tough to catch.

I think we might can pull it off, it just depends on a few things.
1st - We need to keep our pitchers healthy. Last year they didn't make it cause every week a pitcher would get hurt.
2nd - We need to just go for the base hits. I think just about everyone on the Braves feels they need to hit a home run, but all you need to do is get a base hit to get a RBI.
3rd - We need to work on our defense with our younger players. I'm not sure how many errors I have seen off of home and first, which are essential in defense.
14 division title wins in a row - More than any other North American Sport.

Yes. The Mets will choke, cause the biggest chokers in NY reside in Queens, not the Bronx.
I hope u guys have fun beating up on their asses, cause I can't stand the mets.
