All Americans need a pardon from the Supreme Court for installing this nigthmare upon us. Al Gore could never be as impotent as George Bush.

I believe that Gore Jr. deserves a fair trial before any talk of pardon should be mentioned. In any case, the pardon should best come from the governor of the state in which he was arrested, should the facts of the case (including police corruption) justify such action. If Gore Jr. is guilty, he should face a fair and proportionate sentence as would anyone else found guilty of a similar crime, with similar circumstances (ie. criminal history, severity of the offense, etc.)

Al Gore III, why would Bush pardon him? He's like the rest of us has right to trial by peers.......Just because his name is Gore doesn't make him worst or better than any one of us caught doing the same thing and he is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Wow. Bill Clinton lies about an issue that's nobody's business but him and his wife, and he has to face impeachment proceesings. Scooter lies about spreading classified information to the news media, and he gets his sentence commuted. We seem to have an issue of scale, here.

As for Gore III, I think he should get the same sentence that Paris Hilton got - she was convicted of pretty much the same thing. But to others' points: I don't think the Bush girls ever served any jail time for their crimes. Somehow, they got off, and it might have had something to do with their Daddy being Governor of the state in which they were arrested.

Well, if Gore III is given a ridiculous sentence by a judge or jury then, yes, he should just to shut the mouths of the leftists.

How can he pardon the young man, he hasn't been convicted of anything. There is this unique system called the justice system that is predicated on the presumption of innocence. Too bad Libby was convicted by a jury. Is this the best you can do?

Wait for Hillary. Afterall Billy pardoned 396 criminals. Could be a family connection here. And there was no pardon the jail sentence was commuted. Big difference.
