Yes, I do. I thought I was the only one who made up this holiday. It's so much more fun than in December with all the hustle and bustle of shopping, etc. I leave a box of simple decorations (garland, banner, etc) in front of the closet and put them up with tape and put out a few of my favorite christmas cards from last December. Then I try to insulate myself from all non-christmas media (except morning news and weather) and watch only my own stuff on DVD/VHS or Christmas movies from the library and Christmas music on CD. Fortunately, I found a man as crazy as I am and we will make this an annual weekly celebration in our marriage. I also want to find a blow up palm tree and put lights on it......hm.......then again lights and plastic may not be such a good idea. LOL I'd love to have a White Elephant party with friends at this time of year, but haven't worked up to that yet. I think it would be great fun.

One of my clients does that...sort of. He set up a charity called the Christmas in July Foundation. Every July, he hosts a birthday party. Guests are supposed to bring toys for orphans in Mexico. It has evolved into a dharity dinner and silent auction.
