okay, so yesterday I started my period and it was really heavy compared to my other periods on the first day. anyways, i went to sleep with a 'moderate to heavy' pad, (im not ready to use tampons yet please dont suggest me trying them) and i woke up the next morning with blood all on the back of my pj shorts, and splotches of blood on my sheets from different positions i was sleeping in. My mom isnt coming home for another four hours, but im really scared/embarrassed to tell her. I dont really want to wash out the blood myself though. what do i do?!

Wet the spots and add stain remover or detergent and let them soak, then wash them in the washer. It's not that bad! The longer you leave it, the harder they will be to clean. Don't be embarassed, it happens to everyone! Maybe get some pads that are longer or for heavier days, with wings. Talk to your mom about it, she'll understand- I'm sure it's happened to her too. Also, next time, maybe put an old blanket or sheet on top of your good ones on your heavy days.

Okay, so, you're obviously a bit younger. Don't worry about telling your mother, she's apparently had her period before [if she didn't, she wouldn't have been able to have you :) ], but otherwise...
Try dumping everything into a sink [the sheets: soak only the part that is stained, let everything else just kind of sit on the side]. You might need to scrub them a little bit, but hey-deal. It's your blood that came out of you, after all. Then just wash them as usual.

AAAHHHHHHHH I hate when that happens. I suggest you first change pads/ pjs. then get water or take the sheets to the bathroom and use a lot of soap and water on the sheets because they can be hard 2 get out sometimes. then put the sheets into the washing machine. I suggest calling your mom if she has her cell and also asking her. hope this helps =]

You are going to need to tell her or you're going to have to keep the stains. What you need to do is use COLD water and put in on the stains, use a generous amount. DO NOT use hot water, hot water sets stains. Get an old rag and rub the stains out. Either do that or throw them in the washer in cold water and wash them like that.

Well you're either going to have to wash the blood out of your clothing and bedding or simply throw both of them away. There is nothing to be embarrassed about - this happens to a lot of women at one time or another.

unless you want to throw away the clothes and sheets, you have to wash them! just tell your mom--she has periods too, and has probably spilled once or twice.
to wash them, use cold water directly on the stains. hot water will set them in the fabric.

You shouldn't be scared or embarassed to tell your mom. She is a woman and chances are this has happened to her too. Rinse everything out in cold water, and use a spray in stain remover.

This may sound really gross but beleive it or not it really works.
Spit on the spots and rub it in. The enzimes in your saliva break down the blood and will rinse out.
Good luck.
