If you have no choice but to leave them at home, you should get a pigsitter. They will need their water bottles and pellets filled every day. Plus, they need their daily veggies and hay 24/7. I'm sure leaving them a few days without hay would be alright, but definitely not water or pellets.

I would ask a friend or a neighbor to check in on them to give them hay, pellets and veggies. We've left our boys over a weekend before, and we had our friends check in on them. If you leave them with a freshly clean cage, and a nice supply of hay and pellets, they will probably be fine. But I'd ask someone to stop in once or twice to give them veggies and change their water.

They will need to be fed and watered on a daily basis. I have had guinea pigs my whole life. This one time we had seventeen at one time because three of our girls had litters with in the same week. Please take my word for it when I tell you to water and feed them. Maybe you could get someone to come by your place and feed them for you.

well i think it is best if you have a friend or neighbor look after them(like come over every day and give them veggies and make sure they have plenty of water, hay, and pellets. perhaps they will be willing to take them out of thier CLEAN cage and pet them....play with them....what ever.)but if you realy can't find anyone to take care of them they should be ok alone as long as they have plenty of food and water...but you have to make sure that your house never gets to warm or cold because then they could die.(although being alone for a long amount of time could cause them to feel like you dont have time for them)

they should be fine, as long as they have plenty food, hay and water. but it would be a good idea to have someone to check on them every now and then - a nextdoor neighbour perhaps, a friend or a petsitter. or you could take them to an animal boarding facility (some pet shops or breeders may have them) or have a relative or friend look after them.

If you leave them an second (large) water bottle and plenty of food and hay in their freshly cleaned cages, they will probably be ok. My family is planning on going on vacation for three days and that is what I'm planning to do.

i dont know what the laws are where you live but in wales and england the rspca can prosecute if you leave your pets unnatended for more than 2 days i suggest that you either get a neighbour or friend to check them each day or if possible return home after 2 days to check them yourself.

as long as they have pleanty of food, water, hay etc then they should be fine, if your really worried about them, try asking a neighbour you trust to keep an eye on them for you.
