Computers have made the processing of information almost instant. Communication worldwide for the most part takes only a few minutes. Because of computers we can communicate faster and easier. Our daily lives have been enhanced by computers and the easy access to data and people worldwide. Almost every home has a computer, however there are disadvantages to this easy access of information. There are persons who access personal information and use it for criminal activity.

You may as well ask that about the telephone, or the TV,
It has changed life for some, but not for all. I think we are still seeing the changes manifested, and that will not be subject for accurate analysis for quite some time. Most of what is said about it NOW is just hype, and nonsense.

They have allowed you to ask this question of me and me to answer it. Without computers and the Internet I would never have seen your question. Plus, without computers I would be out of a job, since my job is 100% computer work.

Jay, buddy, this is not a question for Astronomy and Space.
And it sure sounds like a question straight out of your homework assignment. What is it that compels you to want to be an intellectual parasite?
