I would take it to a coin shop. There are double stamps that occur sometimes and could be worth alot of money.

If it is a 1976 Lincoln cent and has a smaller bust on it usually to the right of Lincoln, then it is a novelty coin. Most have president Kennedy next to honest Abe. It never came from the mint that way so some one did it outside the mint. It has little value but is a conversation piece.
