Fun...how was yours?

Very good thank you. I celebrated with several friends and relatives out by the lake in back of my house.

But I am very concerned about those poor people out in the Midwest floods and that horrible heat wave out west. I don't imagine they had a nice 4th of July at all..........my heart goes out to each and every one of them.

I am not an overly religious person, but I suggest we all say a little prayer for our fellow Americans that are going through such turmoil right now. It wouldn't hurt.

Very relaxing. My husband made brunch, I took a nap, we had a late dinner late & watched some of the Twilight Zone marathon that I'd taped. Kind of a lame holiday, anyway, on a Wednesday. They should make it a 3-day weekend every year & call it "July Fourth Holiday" or something similar. Everyone knows when Independence Day is!

I wish I got to enjoy mine, but I was forced to sleep from 8AM until 3PM in order to work a double shift at my 2nd job(4PM-6AM) and still be able to work my regular job today(7AM-5PM). So, I've been awake for about 20hrs straight, working for 18 of them. Oh Well! I'll be able to get some sleep in about 7hrs from now.

Hopefully everyone else here had a wonderful 4th, it would be sad to think there are too many others' like mine.
:)

Nice thank you. We visited our son at Boy Scout Camp.
One thing that surprised me though was that were not many fireworks in the sky last night. We've had fireworks galore from July 1st thru 3rd.
How was your 4th asker?

My 4TH was spent at the university of Minnesota Children Hospital. I'm helping with my great niece, she is there being treated for a blood disease. We all should be leaving by Oct. or Nov. I was very happy to be there with them, however we all look forward to going home. The baby is only 17months, one I know for sure," there's no place like home."

O.K., I had to rescue people at work yesterday because of a huge storm that hit here. So many umbrellas hitting people and falling everywhere. lol, such a rush.

Well I went to the beach with my husband and my kids, and my husband had to invite his friends and their girlfriends. Which one of the girls was so annoying that I wanted to slap her so she can shut her mouth. But other than that everything was pretty cool. Got a sun tan. And your's did you do anything with that Navy guy.
