An alchemical sign for gold-leaf or gold-foil, i.e. gold that has been pressed so thin that it can float on the breath. Gold was the only metal that the alchemists could hammer out to such extreme thinness

There is a holy mountain on Delos but it is really only a small hill so it could be something to do with that. If I remember right it is on the east side of the island so it could depict the sun rising over the "mountain".
