NY has been promised help and lower taxes from Clinton, but again it was her way of Lieing to the public- Wait that sounds like her Husband. I guess it runs in the family.

Actually, NY is #2. See list in my link. Maine is #1.
As far as I know nothing is being actively done by politicians to lower taxes. There are enough wealthy people in the state to handle the high taxes that the gov't can get away with it. Taxes were a major reason I left the area.
(And actually, NY is #3 if you count Washington DC, but DC isn't a state.)

Where do you get the idea that Mrs. Clinton has anything to do with NY State tax rates? Mrs Clinton is a US Senator. The US Senate has nothing to do with the setting of State tax rates.

Try taking a couple of courses such as Economics 101 and US Government 101 before you start throwing brickbats where they are not deserved.

Your "question" is more of a political rant than a legitimate tax question. Post it in the politics area if you want any kind of an answer.

State taxes are a local issue. Talk to your state representative or state senator.

Mrs. Clinton is a US Senator. The US Senate has absolutely nothing to due with New York state taxes.
