you should get a memory foam bed. not a temperepidic, you can get the same quality in a knock of, and spend less $$. waterbeds are always fun too.....if you know what i mean. ;)

You should get a sleep number bed or memory foam, but they are costly. So, get something simple with a nice pillow top mattress. It will be comfortable for years to come and should last through high school and your different changes in taste. And if your lucky, when you get your first apartment, after college, or whatever, maybe your parents will redecorate your old room and give you your bed. That's what mine did. It saved me some $.

I'd never buy anything but a Sleep Number Bed from Select Comfort. I slept for years on a hard mattress that I hated until we got the new bed. Now hubby has it hard as concrete, and I've adjusted my side to be as soft as I like. It's adjustable, it's comfortable, it's the best.

Get a big bed. Because that will probably be the bed you have through high school and take with you when you move out.

the best bed is the california king, but that will probably be too big for you. How about a queen size.
