For a lottery does there have to be a deadline to pull the ticket?

Or can there be a certain amount of tickets sold instead of a date?

I'm not sure what you mean by "pull" the ticket, but normally most lotteries sell unlimited numbers of tickets because the more that are bought, the higher the jackpot goes.
