The Byrds CD lists1)Jim not Roger McQuinn was leader of the Byrds. David Crosby guitar,Gene Clark,guitar ,Chris Hillman bass, Mike Clarke drums.

The names listed above are all correct but just a bit of information: roger Mcquinn and Jim mcquinn are the same person....the person switched his name back and forth just to confuse people.......he is still around today singing at various rock and roll revival shows

The original members were Chris Hillman, David Crosby, Michael Clarke, Roger McGuinn and Gene Clark...I happened to catch a Roger McQuinn ' coffee house' concert a few years back ....great show !

Chris Hillman, Roger McGuinn, David Crosby, Michael Clarke and Gene Clark. However it was McGuinn with Hal Blaine, Larry Knechtel and Leon Russell who provided the music on the hit cover Mr Tambourine Man, Mike Clark and David Crosby sang backup.
