hi, i been told that there is a superstition behind hiccups. i no sometimes u hiccup if u laugh alot but what about if u dont laugh and u hiccup alot.
Also what is the superstition behind burning ears. When your ear start 2 feel very warm like there on fire. And what is the superstition for what ear.

ears ment to be left ear your lover right ear your mother talking bout you, right hand itches money coming to you left hand pay out hiccups never heard anything bout that, sneezes ment to be a surprise and if your nose itches that's what i know anyway, hope this help you out

I've alway heard that when you get the hiccups you are growing, but I'm pretty sure that just a superstition for babies. And the ears on fire is someone talking about you.

Never heard of the hiccups superstition, but I have the burning ears one.
It is when someone is talking about you.
Although I am not sure which ear means what, but one is good stuff and the other bad.

There's a superstition behind hiccups????? I had know idea. My ears have never burned either, but they do ring a lot. I have been told that when your ears ring, someone is talking about you.

Well I found that constantly getting hiccups meant my gall bladder was blocked with stones and I had to have emergency surgery...not a superstition I know but still pertinent...

Are you generally superstitious by nature and follow up on all the stupid "rules"? Whatever you do, don't walk under a ladder whilst having an attack of hiccups with burning hot ears, otherwise you will have to turn around three times, poke yourself in the eye and sing bohemian rhapsody to a passing dog. There you go, just invented one.

don't know the hiccup thing but the ears are supposedly when someone is talking about you behind your back.

These, along with sneezing, are superstitions about somebody talking about you. Whether its bad, good, or just talking I've heard different meanings.

With ears it is "Right for spite". and means that someone somewhere is speaking badly of you. The left only means that you are being discussed.

i have heard that when someone is thinking about you - you get hiccups!!
