Some things that are good for nerves are St. John's Wort, 5-HTP, valerian, passionflower, the "B" vitamin inositol, or a Vitamin-B Complex.

Also...and I'm not making this up because nerves accumulate toxins...is to kneel down by the side of your bed and punch a pillow on top of the bed for 30 seconds vigorously. Do this every day. One day, you might find yourself exploding into the pillow. That's the toxins being released.

I've done this exercise. Wow, did I feel better after the 'explosive' episode.

I do use medication to help me when needed and that's what they were made for, but there are two other things that I found helpful. One is smoking lettuce opium (wild lettuce) and the other is taking Valerian root or both. I also found it helpful to drink passionflower tea with the tea bag in the cup the whole time.

Naturally, exercise helps with that, as it helps relax you. Drinking milk helps ever so slightly with relaxation, too.
