Hindu philosophy believes in rebirth and explain the state of soul after death, which is perfectly logical . It says that when the soul comes into the mother's body as foetus, it can remember it's past life. Whenever it take birth and fallopian tube gets disconnected from the childs body, the soul forgets everything. In some cases, the child can remember its previous life to some extent after birth, in case of accidental deaths and rebirth within a short time.

I fear you have opened a whole can of worms with this question. Some religions state that in no way shape or form is there reincarnation. However other religions believe that there is. I personally believe that there is. My screen name is actually different spelling of the word Trisection which is a triple spiral symbol. It has had many meanings, one of which is birth, death and rebirth. It is the symbol for growth. A person comes to earth to learn lessons that they need for growth. When they die they return to spirit form to analyze those lessons and in the future return again to continue the process.

Yes, there is. I myself have had at least 3 incarnations.
But there's also a spiritual rebirth. Where you heal the wounds of the past, shed all your out-dated modes of thinking and being, and are reborn with more wisdom and knowledge, to help you achieve a higher plane of existence.

It's an interesting question, and one that many religions are based upon. But then there is the theory that time does not really exist... it is just a tool of perception for us to access knowledge and 'memory'. The theory is that in fact everything is happening all at once... everywhere and every 'time'. If this is true, then reincarnation cannot exist. There is no past, present or future. There is only the eternal 'now'. Our perception of past lives is the access of knowledge and 'memory' from dimensional cross over.

Are you talking about re-incarnation, where your soul has had many lives, or are you talking about a spiritual rebirth? Personally I believe both are true.
