Can my R2 unit be programmed to seek and destroy flying insects on my back patio?

The best you'll be able to do is rewire the panels on the dome to act as a bug zapper. However, you'll then have to spend a lot of time cleaning bug guts off your unit, so it probably isn't worth it.

Sadly the R2 unit doesn't have the required peripherals, you'll need to upgrade to the R5. You can pick them up cheap at Toshii Station.

It probably doesn't move quickly enough.
