Meagan isn't an A-Lister, due to these reasons:
1) She's seen more for her looks than for her acting ability
2) An A-List actress wouldn't relegate themselves to being cast as 50 Cent's love interest in a music video
3) Her roles are always the same (i.e. someone's girlfriend)
4) Hollywood doesn't do enough movies that require the services of black actresses. Let alone, the type of roles that would enable black actresses to be nominated for major awards.
5) She's just not a great actress.

Her roles are too stereotypical. Meagan always plays the pretty girl love interest in all of these lightweight films. She needs to start pushing for roles in more mainstream movies with bigger budgets and A list costars. If not, she will be a b or c lister for the rest of her career. Halle Berry was a lot like Meagan at one time, but she had to break out of the mold and take roles that you wouldn't really associate her with.
