Chimpy McFlightsuit - I have watched the Godfather series of movies. I have a good understanding as to how it works. That isn't because I'm part Sicilian either. Maybe we should have just sat back and HOPED the terrorists attack us on our soil instead of go to their lands and be proactive in weeding out the garbage?

Henry VIII - The thing is that most everything that happens, whether Bush had anything to do with it or not, people still try to find a connection. I, on the other hand, like to come up with it and add a touch of humor before someone else tries to.

Show me evidence of their connection and I would believe it. Amazing how people think there are people who say everything wrong is Bush's fault. Listen, he only gets blamed for what he and his Administration do. If that happens to be an overwhelming amount of things, well, it is.

I have already read some comments to that effect. I'm surprised they didn't claim the recent flooding in Texas was Bush's fault.

I'm trying to figure out how they could possibly connect this. The only thing I can come up with is that as dumb as these people are they will think that terrorism began in 2001.

You should watch the godfather and learn how organized crime works. The boss never does the dirty deeds himself. He has a buffer of goons to protect him from even being the one to give the order. Did bush do it? Of course not, is it indirectly caused by his policies. Most likely.

No, it wasn't. But the US intelligence agencies themselves agreed last year that international terrorism has increased as a reaction to US foreign policy in the middle east.
