Ahhh, I love Boris. I'd vote for him any day, Mayor, Prime Minister, Landlord of my local - whatever he wanted to do. London would be a much happier place with him at the helm, you could accept the congestion charge as long as he made a ridiculously rambling speech every so often!

Boris Johnson has as much chance of becoming mayor of London as a snow ball does of not melting in hell.
In spite of Boris's eccentricity, he is a rank Tory. Once elected he will do the bidding of Tory Party Central Office.
Do not be fooled by this apparent buffoon. He is no such thing. He is a cold calculating dodgy crafty Tory who will take all your toys away and give them to rich people. Believe.
The Tories should stop moaning about being Mayor of London. They already have the majority of seats on the London Assembly, why give them the Mayor's office as well?
Nuts or what?
I am old enough [65] to remember when London was a bombsite and when the Tories ran it for decades. They allowed the Tube to fall into disrepair, spent millions of our money on one man buses which Londoner's hate and so many other stupid and daft things.
Listen to your elders, they will tell you hair-raising stories of London under the Tories, of mass poverty and near starvation, mass unemployment and hopelessness.
The Tories could not run a booze up in a brewery, even if it were overflowing knee deep in beer. Believe.

Behind his Bumbling toff persona there lies a rather right wing Tory from a privilege background (fellow member of the Bullingdon club with Cameron) and no concept of what life is really like for working people.
Even one Tory blog complained that the Tories were looking to replace their previous candidate "Shagger Norris" (Stephen Norris has a bit of a "reputation") with "Shagger Boris" (another politician who lies to his wife).

Ha ! What an idea! Whilst it would make an amusing and fun filled time, I think he would be a bit too spontaneous to run the country. Often he doesn`t think before he "does", perhaps that could be a good thing though!

lol.. i wouldn't vote for him.... he's from the "old school" ... lives in a posh house.. comes from a well to do family who sent him to public school.
told the papers he didn't have an affair, then was found out later he did..
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article391143.ece
basically he's an over privilaged twit who i've got no time for.
i actually think someone like tony benn or michael gambon would make a good mayor . theres lots more like that who are GENUINE people who aren't in it for what they can get out of it..
£100k a year job.. nice..
