They say on average it takes a couple one year to conceive and they reakon most couples have sex twice a week, maybe a little more when trying to conceive. with my first two pregnancies I come off my contraception and the following month I was pregnant and I guess id probably had sex about a dozen times. With this thrid (and final pregnancy) it took two months and I was having far more regular sex.

My hubby and I would have sex every other night between days 10 - 20 of my cycle when ttc. It took 9 months to conceive our daughter and 8 months to conceive our son.

Having intercourse one to 2 days earlier your ovulation day and ovulation day itself materials a greater probability of having pregnant. Sperm cells can stay for 2 to 3 days and nevertheless have a raffle to connect up with the released mature egg for the duration of ovulation.

My wife and I don't have sex all that often. On Valentine's Day we went to a romantic dinner, and got banged up on cheap wine. We came home and took care of business. About two weeks later she woke me up with the pregnancy test in my face... still soaked with her pee.
I'm going to be a daddy.

it does not really matter the number of times you have sex all that matters' is whether or not the sperm released fertilized your ovule .
that is why it is always safe to have sex during your free period that is the period after you have your menses .
as long as the sperm does not fertilize the ovule , you can have sex a hundred times without pregnancy

How do you "fall" pregnant?
I never fell pregnant. I got pregnant though. I was using foam for one and a condom for the other. I'm one of the unlucky ones. I never tried to get pregnant.

but my brother and his wife have been trying for 5 months and still nothing has happened yet, although she did stay on the pill for about 8 years and tried to get pregnant straight after she went off them
