You know, maybe Texas may have a sense of state pride that is incredible. You certainly can take a Texan out of Texas, but you can't take the Texan out of him.
I have a "Misplaced Texan" bumper sticker on my car. Why? Because I LOVE Texas! I've only been there once, but I fell SO in love with the state that I'm jumping at the first chance to leave freakin' Kentucky and start the process of becoming a naturalized Texan.

well if you want to be a "naturalized" Texan all you have to do is declare yourself to be a resident of Texas.
I used to pass through Texas several times a year. I really loved the Austin area but there's a lot of hot dry dust in Texas too.
If there's anything to "despise" about Texas it'd have to be those "naturalized" Texans George and Dick, both of them make me sick. Go Dixie Chicks!

I don't hate Texas, but being from Oklahoma, the 2 states have been big football rivals for years, and we like to make jokes about Texans.

I live in Texas, moved here from Oklahoma. I love this state. So, all I can say is if people hate Texas it is because they are jealous of us. This is the friendliest state.

the girls in Texas are HOT!!!! If you say they're not then you don't know the ones I know. Kelly Clarkson is hot, Jessica Simpson is doable then go home from her, Baby won't let me move in with her or I would, Matt McConahey is fun to party with, Willie Nelson is a lot of fun too. You go to Austin, Ft. Worth, North Dallas, Abilene, Whetherford, Brownwood, all you see is hot girls, and cool dudes. If you go to G W Bushes town of Crawford, then you have to kick cow **** out of the way to walk down the streets, but the people are very friendly.

I don't like H town, but big D is cool. Central Texas is nice the people are nice, and the schools are pretty good. There is a lot of Hispanics here, but they are cool, I have been all over, but people are so nice here.

We have a Texas here in Aus mate,so whats so good bout yorn i hear thet everathung in thet state is supposed to be bigger,i bet not everathung ain't eh cobber,if it were 12inches it'd be a foot,so start walking??

i like Texas, but i definitely hate Wichita Falls that place is a cancer spot on the earth, it really needs to be used for nuclear testing, an atom bomb would probably be the only thing that can burn off the filth
