Why do some men feel women are inferior to them and can't be more than barefoot and pregnant?

I"m not talking about women's rights that so many faught for. I'm talking about respect and common decency.

Actually my wife is awesome. She is great at many things that one may consider a mans responsibility...like paying bills, finding great deals on cars and negotiating with companies such as insurance, medical, etc. It is funny because when we go to buy a vehicle the salesman (without exception) begins by looking at me when he begins talking about the car - by the time we are done he is addressing my wife - she does her homework, knows what she wants and knows what she wants to pay for it and is GREAT at negotiating with the dealership to get the price she wants. I don't think women should be barefoot and pregnant. Some men just think that women are stupid. I am not sure why?

because they are pigs and most likely had a parent or both who taught them that woman is inferior to them... They haven't figured out and most likely will not ever that woman is at the worst equal.
Even though you think me a pig for saying what I do about you girls I don't believe it and do it for a couple reasons...

Best way to deal with us male pigs is to either ignor us if you can or slam us in the nads or something like that because these guys won't change

Because they are raised in a home where the father treats their mother that way. Men do not realize how important it is to love their children's mother and treat her with respect. children watch everything we do as adults and learn how to behave from that themselves. That is how men learn to treat women like a possession instead of an equal and vital partner.

They grew up watching their own fathers treating their mothers the same way. Then the children learn it and it goes around in a big circle. I listened to a man at the drive-in talking to his sons about how stupid women were and how slow they were in the restroom....and the kids laughed about it. Then his wife comes out and he proceeds to tell her how stupid he thinks she is and she needs to shape up.....how sad. I looked at him and told him if she was so stupid why'd you marry her? He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. How sad....two more little boys who will verbally abuse women being raised. Sorry, it's a hot button issue for me...ignorance is all it amounts to, nothing more.

Because deep down they feel inferior, and threatened by women. They also think they have to have complete control over women to show their superiority. I am not saying all men are this way, just a few.

The honest answer is, because they themselves were raised that way. Education and example are the ways these will either be passed on from generation to generation, or the ways that this incorrect thinking will be irradicated.

Because, even after the feminist movement has accomplished so much for us, there are families that raise their sons to believe they are better than women! Plus, respect for others has taken a backseat to "self love".
