You can catch a fish and feed a man for a day. Or you can teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

I always liked this proverb. One of my biggest pet peeves is education. Ignorance should not be blamed but rather, replaced with knowledge. It could even help a man aquire a meal everyday for the rest of his life.
It's not so much advice you should give. Instead, teach and you will be rewarded.

You are who you are, and you become who you choose to be.

In time, freedom will help you reach the ultimate confidence

and for the big finally

Well Said-
"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back."

Trust yourself, and don't trust others. Believe in yourself. Take care of family and close friends. Don't pay interest, earn it instead. Don't do things because you are "afraid". Goons use fear to make people make irrational decisions. See who benefits from the "solution" to fear, and you will see the true motive for the fear. Don't give up "hope". That is the only luxury we cannot afford.

Life is short, have lots of fun and try to keep the damages to a minimum that way we can all have some fun. Staying cool and clear headed definately keeps the damages down but not quite as fun.

a thumbs down, really? should we struggle and stress over what ever and be miserable and grumpy causing illnesses and others unhappiness or be cool and have a good time getting through life cuz this is all we get.....keeping the damages down helps others have happiness too atleast by not reducing it.....

No matter what you do in life, respect yourself, have self confidence, consider yourself a worthy person to be liked, and only do things and make decisions based upon whether you can live with yourself, love yourself, for the choices you make. Be moral, and ethical as it's important to your self esteem to like yourself.

Dont believe anything you read/see/hear without first doing your own research.
Always be yourself, people will respect you more for not BS'ing them.
The bible does NOT have all the answers, blind faith is the crutch of fools. Find/make your own answers, dont rely on anyone/anything to do it for you.

Learn everything that you can about yourself. You can not know how to react to others until you know who you are. I learned that in a supervision class which actually was a week of learning who you were and your reactions to others in the class.

There are no conflicts of interest between rational people.
If a conflict exists in your life, either you, the other person, or both of you, are being irrational.
You can both gain if you use your brain.
