My printer is a Lexmark Z715. Is this printer compatable with my emachine

YES, the USB socket is where to plug the printer in, however it is always better to install the drivers FIRST for USB printers.

Insert the CD it came with, run the install sequence, plug printer into a USB socket when prompted to. (don't move it from socket to socket after installed, this WILL give problems)

USB = universal serial bus. It's a type of connection/plug.

Yes, your printer is compatible with your computer. If it has a USB plug, then that's where it will plug in.

just plug it in usb port and install the drivers from the cd and see if it works

if ur printer is usb then yes if not then plug it to serial slot
