Length of day calculator?

Can anyone direct me to a program that enables me to enter my location on a specific date and it will give me an approximate time for sunrise and sunset?

Try the U.S. Naval Observatory web site in the source. It is an on line tool and not a program you can download and run while offline, but it will give exact values.
