Usually a woman is fertile about 14 days after her last period, but mother nature can be tricky. I would buy one of those ovulation predictor tests and have sex on the days it says you are most fertile. Sometimes it can just be a timing issue.

Hey!!

In know exactly how you are felling.

My Husband and I tried for a year to conceive and I finally fell pregnant last October, only to lose my baby in February of this year.

We left it a while but have now started to try again. It is so frustrating getting my period every month and breaks my heart that little bit more every time.

The worst thing you can do is get stressed over it as it has a bad affect on your chances of conceiving. Also let me reassure you taht 6 months is no time at all, It actually takes a lot of women a lot longer than that, with the average being 6-18 months so you have nothing to worry about yet.

Also you say that you and your boyfriend are having sex all the time, This is not a good idea as it means he is more than likely leaving less and less sperm inside you, It is best to target your most fertile day which is 14 days before your period is due. Target this day and up to 4 days either side, for the best chance.

Most of all just remember that once you have your baby, you will have that baby for life so what's a six or more month wait in the grand scale of things!!

Good luck

xx

Me too!! I came off the pill beginning of Jan too. It's a rollercoaster of a time isn't it? The anticipation of ovulation and then the disappointment of a period. I read lots of literature and even if you are in your twenties and having sex at the 'right' time then you will only have a 25% chance of conceiving. Alot of info says the 14th day of a cycle is best, but I tried using an ovualtion test this month and I was ovulating on the 11th day. You could try one too, plus have a go a recording your body temperature first thing in the morning with a basal thermometer. It confirmed for me that my optimum days are 11th day till 13th day. Friend tell me to relax and then it'll happen. Good luck. I am sure that when baby comes he/she will be well loved.

hi i have been trying for 3 years also. was on the pill for 9 years. you need to chart your first day of cycle and count to days 12-19. on the days you need to see when the clear stretchy stuff comes out like the clear part of an egg. you should have sex those days. i tried on days 12-19 just to makes sure i hit the right days. there is only a small window of 24 hours to get it done. sperm lives up to 5 days in us. so that is why you should try days 12-19. not all cycles my boobs get sore so i don't go off that any more. the other thing is some are all of us are so different. i was same way when i get my cycle i would get so sad for the past 3 years. the last one in June was barely 2 days and barely anything. so i got more excited but am waiting for the 8th to get here and so what i get. i wish you luck. check out babycenter.com there is tons of information that can help you like it helped me. from one hope full to the next. wishing you best of all luck.

6 months isn't a long time... And you will be just fine and if you start your period, then it just wasn't the right time yet. My husband and i have been trying for 2 years, so I know how it feels. You get hopeful and then you start and its just horrible.

If you still haven't gotten pregnant in another 6 months, try going to the dr and theywill be able to see why you haven't gotten pregnant yet. But you wont be able to go until you have been trying atleast a year.

And remember, it takes the average couple 6-8 months to get pregnant..

Good luck!

Don't worry!

Six months is not long. Just enjoy each other, and keep loving each other. When the time is right, things will work out.

If you are impatient, do as someone else suggested and get an ovulation test kit and keep trying.
