Bored to death is simply awful; too much to do? then just do what you can and learn to tolerate the idiots who expect too much.

lets take a look at boredom;
it means you could be lazy, simply because let's face it their is always some thing to do.
weed the garden, plant a garden, dust your house, clean the curtains and bedding, and all the other household duties that don't get done daily.
you can also play on line, call a friend or 5, go to work, start engaging in crafts..make it a hobby of it, or make a hobby in some thing else. Take a long walk, or bike ride, watch a long movie.

If you truly don't feel like doing any thing then it is boredom, it's laziness.

on the other hand being so busy that it take a long time to complete is in most cases being unorganized.
In this case, make a list of every thing that needs to be done, and better tune your day. you will find it wont be as bad as it seems.

NOW.... what would I rather be?
I'd rather be lazy.

Being bored to death at work is worse because the day seems to go so slow. Like time is standing still. When you are busy, your work day is over before you know it.

I'm not sure.
If I am already bored then to be bored at work makes the time go so slow.
However having too much to do makes you feel like you are running around like a headless chicken getting no where fast.
Prefer to be busy.

Bored to death at work, if you were lucky enough to give your job up you'd be able to get everything done well ahead of Christmas and be able to go on a nice holiday as a treat.

Oh, most definitely the former. I'd rather be up to my eyeballs in projects than bored. In fact, if one is consistently bored at work, it's time for a job change.

Bored to death is worse. You end up clock watching and all time stops.

Worse to be bored, time drags by, you just can't wait till the clock turns. I like to be busy so time flies.
