How accepting would the citizens be?
Would you still boast that there's "no racism" in EU?
Would they still be able to continue their social services?
Would they perhaps understand the USA a bit better then?

Do you know where Europe is? We are surrounded by a hell of a lot of countries....
People that emigrate to EU come from:
America (meaning mostly Central and South), Morocco (and North Africa), Albania, Rumania and Poland... (By the way, last two countries are now part of the UE), and many more... even India...

Ok, I will try to answer your questions anyway:

1. The acceptance of European citizens about immigration is just like in the "Estates" fifty/fifty. We don't have a common immigration policy yet.

2. Chauvinism and racism are a Pandemic... EU is no Exception. (We love to feel superior, just like Americans...we are not so different after all)

3. YES we will, in fact we already had put the meanings to cope with social services...(between 1994-2004 Europe increase the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS population in a total of 11,439,000 people, plus 3,424,000 Asylum application (=14,863,000 new LEGAL IMMIGRANTS). in a 10 year period.... Plus the Illegal of course...
I live in Spain, (between Spain an Italy alone we accommodate more than a third of the total LEGAL and probably illegal too, Europe’s immigrants) I haven't notice a negative impact in our social services... Among those "UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE"; and social services barely raise in cost per capita in 10 years... You don't have to take my word for it... search in the links below ... In case you are not fond of reading I can give you the e-mail of a USA citizen, friend of mine, (She has been living ILLEGALY in SPAIN for more than a decade now) that last year had a beautiful baby girl at MY GOVERMENT EXPENSES... in a PUBLIC HOSPITAL of her choice... where she had a private room...

4.I understand you are afraid... but you are pointing the wrong "boogie man". As Europe's population is getting older, we need workers to keep the system running; most people emigrate to earn more money through their work. We should have filters and background checks, so we do not imported more criminals but you cannot criminalize immigration. They will support their own cost through taxes…and educate and integrate them will be in our own benefit too. There should be something else that is wiping out middle class everywhere, while we waist our time demonizing immigrants. Cheers
P.S. No border will keep out big time criminals and International Mafia.

1. Not near the capital, I knew some one that didn't work for ten year, and now applied for 4 jobs, she got accepted for all of them, but only works for one 2. Is Mexico a third world country? No, they are just making us a worse 1st world country 3. Yes, I think this will help make us a third world country 4. That is a cultural boost, only 11% of Americans speak Spanish. If they are bilingual, I see not problem 5. Everyone money is becoming less and less. Then it will have more worth when the economy gets back on track. This is an international thing, it's not just us. 6. Yes, this will help make us a third world country. 7. This is the same as number 5... 8. We've been the stupidest nation for years, we are still the best 9. Yes. They can go up, but they can't go up far enough to be "rich", and in the state they are in right now. With welfare and unemployment, they would be better off.... Socialism 10. I don't see this as a really bad thing. And your counting the minorities as one group. If this does happen, then it will not make us a third world country. 11. War... Additions 12. War, we are fighting too many wars. We are sending troops everyone where. The worlds see us as an enemy. 13. Debt, we are spending and burrowing way too much. 14. International influence. We are the best nation in the world. But now lawmakers are using other countries' laws to make ours. 15. Obesity. This is a good list, I marked the ones that I didn't think as a problem, and added a few of my own.

The gypsies are like 3rd world countries unceremoniously plopped in the middle of Europe. They are universally disliked and distrusted.

What I object to is the overly free use of the word "racism", which is a belief that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement. What people fail to recognize is that there are very ingrained differences between people of different countries. To observe the obvious is not racism. For example, poverty-stricken children in Brazil are usually happy and carefree while their counterparts in Peru are sullen and glum. People in Switzerland have never cultivated much of a sense of humor (the country is practically devoid of comedians or cartons in newspapers and magaines), while Italians are completely the opposite.

What we define as corruption is as much a part of how Mexicans do business and how their government operates as prayer is to a priest. Corruption is the singlemost identifiable trait of their government. If we ceded areas of the U.S. Southwest back to Mexico, how long would it take before these places degenerated to the level of incompetence, corruption, and chaos prevalent in the rest of Mexico? Is asserting this "racism"? Certainly not. I am stating the obvious.

People in the EU are less concerned about race because the problems, until recently, have been hidden. All the Muslims in France were largely invisible. The Turks in Germany lived in neighborhoods most Germans shunned anyway. However, their attitudes are beginning to change.

You are completely correct in your implication that people in the EU act as if the United States is racist. Considering we have black mayors, black governors, black Supreme Court justices, etc., the EU looks quite racist in comparison.

It's not just the pot calling the kettle black. I would say there is more of an ingrained, unspoken racism in the EU. The United States tries valiently (and even goes too far many times) trying to make everything perfectly equitable.

It has since 1979 when Jimmy Carter let the Ia tolla gain power in Iran. The EU which not called this at the time allowed the Islamic people to immigrate and live by their Sharia laws and now they are on fire. France and Great Brittan and the rest. To top it off the Islamic people there are having far more children then the EU people are and in just a few years they will be out numbered. And their social programs have never worked as people there come here to get the best care and not have to wait months for it.

ehhh...

what poor, 3rd world country is in the middle of the USA are you talking about?

and the difference would be, that people migrate to the EU to take advantage of all the hand-outs they get there... they don´t have to work, and for every kid they get more money, free education, health-care, etc...

people come to the USA to WORK.... to make thier dreams reality... not to take advantage of some safty net for all the high-school drop outs....

maybe if you´d travel to europe you´d see the immigration problem here is just as bad if not worse than in our USA....

immigrants come to us in search of a better life and are willing to work for it... immigrants to the EU are in search of an easier life where they don´t have to do anything....

I prefer our situation to the situation in europe

Just look at how hard the EU fought to keep Turkey out just because they're a Moslem country and you'll have your answer.

You mean like Ireland. After some years of terrorism and blatant discrimination, capitalists will invest, unrest will die down, people will get good paying jobs and country will become prosperous
